The Kiamichi River is the place where people go to float down the river, boat, fish, canoe and more.  The river runs through the beautiful Kiamichi Mountain Range with its remote wilderness and immense natural beauty . Although it is a slow moving river,  it can get dangerous at springtime with high water levels. The river can create some action Class I-II whitewater for the risk takers. There are lots of good scenic canoeing for up to 100 miles if you take the time.

K River Campground

The only known outfitter and campground on the river is K River Campground at this time. They have these activities that are available to the visitor: Canoe, kayak, camp, tube, fish, swim, RV sites, cabins, gold panning, horseback rides, and lots more.
